Search and drive away!

Well after putting it off for years, Steve has paid off all fines, took the written exam and paid more money for a drivers licence than most people pay their whole lives, Steve now has his licence! So then after all that now we're on our way to purchasing a second vehicle. We headed out to look at a small red hyundai first, which I wasn't too interested in. After that we went to IKEA to kill time til we could head out to Eagle Mountain where we looked at a Ford Explorer that was a little too much money for the worth and Allie took her first real hard face first dive into the ground. So we called our car search adventure to and end for the night and headed to church.

Today after we both went to work this morning we came home and picked up Allie so we could head out again. We went to Costco, signed up for a membership and picked up a pizza to take to a friend of mine that has been put on bed rest. On our way to take her the pizza we stopped at ToysRus for the Wii Fit. I've been wanting it so bad for months now and since I've done it on some of my friends systems I know that I'm motivated to do the workout with it, which is pretty important since I've really let myself go the last few years. Not that I ever really watched my weight before but if I don't start now I fear ending up like one of those tabloid beheamouths that pull dead dogs out of their folds. EWW!!!!

So after dropping off the pizza and taking a look at the newly painted nursery we headed in the oposite direction as yesterday to good ole Roy, Utah, not after going to oposite direction to drive past the Air Force Plane bone yard, to look at a smaller but newer car. Much more in our price range. We took a look at it started it up and decided it was the car for us. The guy came out and showed us the body damage that it had and we said we'd be back with the money and asked him to have the paperwork started for us. It took us a little time to find a Chase out there and we found a really nice Christian lady that reminded us both a lot of my Granny, gave us some very interesting directions but somehow we still found the place, passing some place called Building God's Way, I'm kind of interested to find out what they do, although I'm guessing they build churches. We went back with the cash and had our new car within a few minutes. That wan an incredibly easy buy! Steve drove and I followed close behind seeing as that it doesn't have any plates yet, tomorrow we'll do the safety and emissions then we'll start getting things fixed that may need attention. We came home and played the musical car game to put the Saturn in the front of the driveway with my mom's PT Cruiser parked behind it and the Olds on the street with a space in the driveway for the Ford. There will be many days of musical cars to come! Praise the Lord for that! Tomorrow will be Steve's first day driving himself to work, and my first day to sleep right through it!
