We visited the
Natural History Museum, which was a ton of fun. Jordan had been there before but if I ever had I definately didn't remember it. The funniest thing happened while we were there. Jordan was talking really loud because he does that when he gets excited, well we kept telling him that he needed to lower his voice but he
just couldn't. While he was standing in the middle of a circle shaped aquarium with weird looking frogs in it, Steve reached over and dumped a little tiny bit of water on him. He came running out of there so fast yelling about how the frog had splashed him and then he was telling all the other kids not to stand in that aquarium because the frogs splash.
Let me tell you, those frogs were barely moving, much less splashing people. It was so funny. We laughed so hard, and I think he still doesn't know that Steve dumped water on him.Another great thing is that Fellowship at the Farm has started back up for the season at Wheeler Farm on the first Wednesday of each month. We've gone to two so far. The most recent one was just a couple weeks ago. The Potters Field Minstry came to show us how awesome it is that God is the Potter
and we are clay. While they are talking and sharing with us their testemony this guy is litterally forming a huge pot. He spends time on it, shaping it, digging out the insides (because it's full of itself), and he even carves designs into the side of it. It really looks like he's just about to be done with it when he collapses in on inself. He had cut it so that it would fall but we didn't know it was on purpose until he started to make a really big bowl. He starts to for
m the bowl, taking time, making it just right and when he finishes it he explains how he knew from the very beginning that it was going to be a bowl, just like God knows the plans he has for us right from the very beginning. The clay didn't know what was happening to it, but the Potter knows the whole time. It was always going to be a bowl. Maybe we collapse inside ourselves sometimes only to be shaped into something different, but God's plans for us are always going to come out the way he wants. I can't wait for them to come again, it will be awesome.
We went to a really beautiful wedding for our friends Chan and Skipps. I was so surprised to see my friend Nikki that I haven't seen in a very long time. I met her almost a year ago while she was in Utah because her daughter had been severely burned and was at the Burn
Unit at University of Utah hospital. My heart had really gone out to her and some of you may already know the story about how he daughter won the raffle at the Barlow Girl concert (if not then refer to my myspace blog from October 9th, 2008). Her daughter passed away a few months ago and I wasn't able to go the funeral so I was really happy to see her at the wedding. The ceremony was really beautiful. At one point both the Bride and the Grooms parents came forward and each both sets of parents took turns saying a blessing for Chan and Skipps.
The reception was not your typical reception. Chan is a tai kwon do teacher and some of his students were there to give us a show. Chan took a part it it too with a really cool kick that I would never be able to acomplish! They ended the reception by singing a few worship songs.
Some other things: I watched some a few of my friends get tattooed, it only made me ink hungry.
We saw a band called Revive. They are from Australia and had some really great tunes.

Went to Meuller Park a couple times to BBQ with our friends from College and Carreer.
I visited The Rock Church again.
So there you have it. That's not even half of all that we did either! I love it though. I absolutely love spending time with my family (and that includes my church family as well).
